$500 on the trailer for the Z that is. well on the way back from a break in run to Atlanta i noticed a very very bad noise. i was about 30-40 miles from home. i stopped in a gas station and it was coming from the #6 piston area and as best i could tell it wasn't from the bottom end. so i keep on my way home. and i think about what i might have done to trigger this. and all i could think was i got a bit in to the VTC range. =\ so im thinking 1 they shaved too much and i ended up bending a valve or i had a lifter cave in. so when i get home i pulled the coil pack/plug and take a look, nothing. so im a little torn about what could be worse, the lifter or the valve.=\ and im not sure if i want to pull it apart now or wait till i get back from texas.=\ oh well, 36 or so hours till i take off for texas.
